One Za’abeel, the iconic landmark developed by ICD (Investment
Corporation of Dubai), hosted the glamorous One&Only One Za’abeel Grand Opening
weekend from February 9th to February 11th. The three-day celebration attracted stars
and esteemed guests from around the globe for an unforgettable, luxurious
commemoration of the urban resort’s official launch in Dubai.

The opening of One&Only’s first and only urban resort establishes One Za’abeel as a hub
for ultra-luxury hospitality and fine dining. Throughout their stay, guests were treated to
wellness and beauty treatments at Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie, brunches and
dinners prepared by world-renowned chefs, and drinks while lounging at the UAE’s longest
suspended infinity pool at Tapasake Pool Club. The majority of festivities took place at The
Link, the 230 metre long feature of One Za’abeel, currently attempting to break the
Guinness World Record for the ‘Longest Cantilevered Building’ in the world.

International stars including Naomi Campbell, Vincent Cassel, Vanessa Hudgens, Kiara Alia
Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Malaika Arora, Emma Raducanu, Raya Abirached, and Maya
Diab were also treated to two nights of private concerts. On Friday night, Lebanese
superstar Nancy Ajram performed at Tapasake Pool Club, with panoramic cityscape views
on display. The second night featured international pop icon Jennifer Lopez and awardwinning DJ Mark Ronson, followed by a DJ set from action legend Idris Elba at Sphere at The Link. The awe-inspiring architecture and decor of Sphere at The Link and its electrifying atmosphere provided the ideal conclusion to Saturday night’s events.

The celebration extended beyond The Link with a recurring 3D light projection show
illuminating the entirety of One Za’abeel’s exterior. Designed exclusively for the One&Only
One Za’abeel Grand Opening, the record-breaking seven-minute long 3D light projection
was awarded three Guinness World Records for the ‘Longest Projection Mapping’ in the
world, ‘Largest Architectural Temporary Projection Mapping’ in the world, and the ‘Largest
Mesh Screen Projection’ in the world.
